Here is another project I worked on in Winter of 2011. This project was created in a span of about 40 hours, which included the writing of the script, professional voiceover recording at a studio in Winkler, Manitoba, filming and editing, and it was sent off to the producer of Phil Callaway’s videos so that it could be included as a trailer on his latest DVD.

At the end of the summer the staff at Winkler Bible Camp had a wind-up party. At that party we had a pretty massive food fight. I wrapped up my camera in a plastic bag and using my GlideCam, I ran around like a mad man trying to capture the craziness that was ensuing. Here is the video:

This summer has been a busy one for me at Winkler Bible Camp. I’ve been filming and editing the weekly camp videos, which has proven to be an enormous task, but a rewarding one as well!
Although it is extremely busy for all camp staff, we do find time to have a little fun. One hot afternoon the staff participated in an epic water battle in which their goal was to remove paint from the bodies of the opposing team.
Here is the highlight video from that battle, which was filmed using a Canon T2i with a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens mounted on a Glidecam HD-1000.

A few months ago I directed and produced my very first music video. It was a blast to work with The Color and an incredible learning experience.
I hope you all enjoy “Every Part of Me” by The Color.
Just a little bit of trivia… the couple in this video had just started dating not long before this was filmed. They are now engaged.

In Spring of 2011, two friends of mine and I had a class assignment to create a commercial for a fictional product. The product, nay, the company we came up with was “Spoken Songs Productions.”
We created two videos, one was a 90 second advertisement of our made-up product and the other is a blooper reel. I laugh out loud every time I watch them. We even had best-selling author and humorist Phil Callaway busting a gut!
